First Ride: Raising Money For Lydia's Cancer Treatment

I've known Lydia's parents since our high school days in our tight-knit community. When I came across a social media post revealing that Lydia was battling cancer for the second time at just 9 years old, it struck me profoundly. Witnessing such a young soul face osteosarcoma again was heartbreaking. In our small town, we’ve always embraced a strong sense of unity, and that spirit has shaped my purpose in life. Motivated by Lydia’s story, I felt compelled to take action. From that moment, the Cycle-A-Thon was born. I pushed myself to cycle more miles in a month than I ever had before, inspired by the overwhelming support from my community. Together, we raised funds for Lydia's second cancer treatment, proving that when we rally for one another, we can make a meaningful difference.
